More Medical Tourism Investments in India

The government said that a total investment of 6.5 billion dollars is about to be invested in medical tourism industry in the country being invested for the establishment of hospitals and budget hotels available to be made available for patients. The government has said that greater a deterrent to foreign investors is the unavailability of a single window clearance. Government is working towards a system in which investment in India becomes easier for the investment for medical tourism. In addition, the tourism minister of India has stated that the medical tourism industry has faced many legal implications, mainly by doctors, while treating foreign tourists. The hospital management must be more transparent and ensure that the profile of doctors are easily made available.
