The social variety and tourist potentiality of Aranmula, the picturesque settlement in Pathanamthitta territory, will be highlighted in the exhibit of floats presented by the Central Tourism Department at the Republic day exhibit in New Delhi on January 26, 2008. This was decided by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in circumstance of the achievements of Aranmula as a tourist destination as easily as its winning many domestic and global awards. This was announced by Mr. P N Suresh, Executive Director of Vasthu Vidya Gurukulam, which has been implementing many key aided tourism projects as easily as the UNDP-sponsored Endogenous Tourism Project in Aranmula.
