Tourism season is live in varkala with new hopes and aspirations in this tourism season. A beach destination in kerala which is popular after kovalam. Varkala has started filling with foreign tourists along with domestic travellers. The beauty of varkala and the facilities for sun bathing is what that is attracting the tourists.
The tourism season in varkala starts from october and ends in march. But last year i have found that there were tourists in the month of april also. Most of the foreign tourists in varkala are from France, England, Germany and Italy. More charted flights are expected to land in Trivandrum in the coming months with more tourists. In the mean time basic facilities and services are still lacking in this beach destination.
