Kerala Tourism Awarded

Kerala is still the best state in india for tourism. An Award for the Best State Tourism Board and the Best Travel Destination by CNBC AWAAZ, India’s Business and Consumer Channel has been given to kerala state. Receiving the award kerala's tourism minister remarked that kerala's focus on sustainable and eco tourism has made kerala one of the finest destinations in Asia.

Kerala generates much more revenue from tourism industry that any other state in india. Kerala's approach to tourism is its transparent quality control systems, eco-friendly practices and long-term approach to tourism and tourists which is being widely acclaimed by rest of the states in the coutry.

Thekkady has been chosen as the best travel destination - Wildlife and Nature. Thekkady which is located in the idukki district of kerala has been promoted by state tourism board as a place for sustainable tourism and eco-tourism has made a favorite destination for Nature Enthusiasts and other travellers.

CNBC AWAAZ travel awards were given based on comprehensive study on the travel and tourism industry by the experts covering almost 20 categories across 10 major cities in the country.
